The Commander Ultimate is the most premium sectional garage door opener manufactured by Merlin, ideal for homeowners whose garage is equipped with a sectional garage door but do not have the space for a standard-style sectional garage door motor.
Tell us your door or opener model and we'll confirm the right part before we come out.
Signs you need this part
- Motor hums but the door does not move
- Door opens part way then stops or reverses
- Opener has become noticeably louder
- Unit is over ten years old and failing repeatedly
Fitting notes
- Roller and sectional openers are not interchangeable — check your door type first.
- The door must be correctly balanced before an opener is fitted; an unbalanced door destroys motors early.
- Any manual lock must be disengaged once an opener is fitted.
The owner has 20 years in the trade
