Signs you need this part

  • Handset lost or damaged and the door has no other remote
  • Remote works within a few metres but not from the street
  • Remote stopped working entirely after a flat battery was left in it
  • Second car needs its own handset

Fitting notes

  • Check the frequency on the back of your existing handset. Older Steel-Line units ran a different frequency and will not code to a 433.92MHz remote.
  • To pair: hold P and + on the motor's panel together until the lights come on and LED 7 flashes, press + once so only LED 7 stays lit, press your chosen remote button twice, then press P to save.
  • If the door has stopped responding to every handset rather than just one, the fault is more likely the receiver or aerial in the motor than the remote.

We can supply and fit this for you
