Signs you need this part
- Grinding or rumbling as the door moves
- Door judders instead of gliding
- Flat spots you can feel when turning a roller by hand
- Roller has stopped spinning and is dragging in the track
Fitting notes
- Check whether you need the standard or long-shaft version — long shafts are used on top sections and low-headroom installs.
- Rollers are usually replaced as a full set; the labour is the same whether you change two or ten.
