Signs you need this part
- Remote works up close but not from the driveway
- Handset stopped responding after a power cut
- One remote works and another does not
- Buttons need pressing hard or repeatedly
Fitting notes
- Check the frequency on your existing handset before ordering — several brands changed frequency without changing the case.
- New handsets need coding to the opener before they will work.
- Try a fresh battery before replacing a remote; a flat cell is the most common cause of short range.
