The earlier Guardian handset — black with red and blue buttons, 303MHz, fitted to openers built between 2001 and 2014 (model 21230L). It also covers Boss, Steel-Line and Centurion units of that era.

What this part fits
- 100% compatible to Boss, Steeline & Centurion brands. If it looks identical it is compatible. (Please note there is also a 433 Mhz remote, which is normally a light grey colour. The 433Mhz version will not work on a motor with a 303Mhz receive).

Fitting notes
- ⚠️ Guardian changed frequency in 2014 without changing the case. This is the 303MHz version for 2001–2014 openers; the later grey handset is 433MHz. Matching the wrong one gives you a remote that will never code in.
- Check the frequency printed on the back of your existing handset, or send us a photo.
- Also compatible with Boss, Steel-Line and Centurion openers of the same generation — if the handset looks identical, it will code.
